Hosting and delivery through Cloudflare
This website is delivered through Cloudflare Workers and Static Assets provided by Cloudflare, Inc. When the website is accessed, Cloudflare processes connection and security data required for technical operation, including the IP address, time, requested address, and browser and device information. This is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and efficient website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, Cloudflare relies on the safeguards stated in its contractual documentation.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregated usage and performance data such as page paths, referring website, country, device type, browser, and load times. Cloudflare states that it does not use cookies or local storage for this service and does not identify individual visitors through their IP address or browser or track them across websites.
The analysis helps assess the reach, technical quality, and usability of this website. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in improving the website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare Turnstile
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to detect automated submissions and abuse. It processes the IP address and signals from the browser and device that are required for the security check. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access the contents of the contact form.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in protecting the form and technical systems under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form and email delivery
When you submit an enquiry, the name, email address, message, and any optional details about your company, phone number, type of enquiry, timeframe, budget, and attachments are processed. Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) transmits this data as an email to the business mailbox, where it is processed using Microsoft Exchange Online.
The data is processed to handle and respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps before entering into a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR or, for other enquiries, the legitimate interest in communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Resend identifies the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area.
Attachments
Files selected voluntarily are forwarded directly by email together with the enquiry. Please send only documents needed for your enquiry and no special categories of personal data unless they are necessary for your request.
Recipients and retention
Recipients are the people responsible for handling the enquiry, as well as Cloudflare, Resend, and Microsoft for technical delivery. Data is disclosed to other recipients only where required by law, necessary to perform a contract, or expressly agreed.
Enquiries and attachments are deleted once they are no longer required for handling the enquiry or a possible business relationship and no statutory retention duty applies. Business correspondence relevant for tax or company law may generally be retained for seven years, and longer where proceedings are pending.
Your rights and right to complain
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
